How this checker works

What it does

  • Maps your situation to one of the six categories the ICP Golden Residency Guide publishes.
  • Compares your answers with the published criteria, line by line, and quotes the official wording for each.
  • Says plainly when the official pages do not state something, instead of filling the gap with private-website claims.
  • Lists the documents named on the official pages for your category and the body that issues each one.
  • Keeps your answers on this device so you can send them with an enquiry without typing them again.

What it does not do

  • It does not say you are eligible or approved. Only ICP, or GDRFA Dubai for Dubai files, decides an application.
  • It does not quote fees or prices. Government fees are on each authority's fee schedule; private service charges are quoted only after a consultant reviews your case.
  • It does not estimate processing times. The official pages do not publish an end-to-end time.
  • It does not use your nationality or location to judge eligibility. Location is asked only to point you to the right authority.
  • It does not store your answers on our servers unless you choose to send them to a consultant.

The categories it compares against
