MOHRE enquiry services: how to check your work permit, contract and complaint status
How to use the MOHRE inquiry portal (inquiry.mohre.gov.ae) to check application status, electronic work permit information and your attested employment contract without a login, how to verify a job offer, how to file and track a labour complaint, and the employer-paid work permit fee range u.ae publishes.
The short answer
MOHRE enquiry services live at inquiry.mohre.gov.ae, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation's public inquiry portal. Switch it to English, choose the service you need, such as application status, electronic work permit information or view attested employment contract, enter the reference it asks for, and the result appears on screen without a login. The same checks are available in the MOHRE app and by calling 600 590000. "MOL enquiry" is the old name from when the ministry was the Ministry of Labour; the portal is the same.

- Save or print the result. For an attested contract or an e-work permit, the portal lets you print the document.
If you prefer the phone, MOHRE's 24/7 call centre on 600 590000 and the WhatsApp line on +971 600 590000 handle the same enquiries. MOHRE says many transactions can now be completed in one call.

Frequently asked questions
Is MOL enquiry the same as MOHRE enquiry?
Yes. MOL was the Ministry of Labour. The ministry became MOHRE, and the enquiry portal is the one at inquiry.mohre.gov.ae.
Can I see my labour contract online?
Yes. Choose View attested employment contract on the inquiry portal and enter the reference it asks for.
Does an enquiry need UAE Pass?
The public inquiry portal does not ask for a login. MOHRE's service transactions (permits, complaints, cards) start with a UAE Pass login.
How long does a labour complaint take?
MOHRE lists 14 working days as the service completion time. Cases referred to court follow the court's own timetable.
Who pays the work permit fee?
The employer. u.ae states the cost ranges from AED 250 to AED 3,450 depending on the company's classification.
