Terms of use
Please read these terms before using the site. They explain what the content is for, what it is not, and the basis on which you may use it.
Draft prepared 4 September 2026 — pending legal review. Sections 11 and 12 in particular are to be confirmed by a licensed UAE legal practitioner before publication.
1. Who we are and acceptance of these terms
The website immigration-uae.com (“the site”) is operated by Cosmos Immigration (“we”, “us”), a private immigration and business services firm with offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. [Founder to confirm the legal entity name and licence number to print here.] By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Immigration UAE is a brand of Cosmos Immigration, a private immigration and business-services consultancy. It is not affiliated with the Government of the UAE, ICP, GDRFA, MOHRE or any UAE government authority.
2. Informational content, not advice
The content on this site describes UAE visa, residence, family sponsorship, long-term residency, investment and company-formation rules as published by the relevant authorities at the review date shown on each page. It is general information. It is not legal, tax, financial or immigration advice for your circumstances, and it must not be relied on as such.
The rules that apply to you depend on your nationality, where you live, your documents, the emirate and channel you apply through, and the discretion of the deciding authority. Only a review of your own situation can tell you how a rule applies to you.
3. No advice relationship until a written engagement
Reading the site, using its tools, sending an enquiry, exchanging messages with a consultant or attending an initial conversation does not create a client relationship, an advisory relationship or any duty of care beyond what the law imposes on the provision of information. A professional relationship with Cosmos Immigration begins only when both parties have signed a written engagement setting out the scope of work, the fees and the terms that apply to it.
We do not provide legal representation and are not a law firm. Where your matter requires a licensed legal practitioner, we will say so.
4. The eligibility checker and business setup finder
The tools on this site apply the published conditions to the answers you give and show a preliminary, reasoned view. They do not verify your answers, do not consider every factor an authority may weigh, and are not applications or decisions. This assessment provides preliminary informational guidance only and is not a UAE government decision or guarantee of approval.
The results are provided for information. Any decision you take on the basis of a tool result is your own.
5. Accuracy and its limits
We take care to check regulated content against official sources and to review it on the schedule described in our fact-checking and regulatory review process. Even so, rules, fees, thresholds and procedures change without notice and official pages are sometimes inconsistent with one another. Content may be out of date between reviews, and where an official page does not state something we say “not stated” rather than estimate.
The official page of the deciding authority always prevails over anything on this site. Before you act, confirm the current position on the authority’s own portal or with a consultant who has reviewed your case.
6. No guarantees and no government role
No private firm can guarantee the outcome of a UAE visa, residency or licensing application. Decisions rest solely with the relevant UAE authority.
We are not a government portal, an authorised channel of any authority, or a typing centre acting for an authority. Applications are decided by ICP, GDRFA Dubai, MOHRE, the Federal Tax Authority, the economic departments and the free zone authorities. Nothing on this site should be read as a statement by, or on behalf of, any of them.
7. Intellectual property
The text, structure, tools, design, code and imagery on the site are owned by or licensed to Cosmos Immigration and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may read, print and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link to the page. Any other reproduction, adaptation, distribution or commercial use requires our written permission.
Extracts from laws, decisions and official service pages quoted on the site remain the property of the authorities that published them and are reproduced for the purpose of accurate reference. The names and marks of UAE authorities and free zones belong to their owners; their appearance on the site indicates only that a page discusses them.
8. Prohibited use
You must not use the site for, or in connection with, any of the following:
- using the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
- submitting false, misleading or another person’s information through an enquiry form;
- using automated tools to submit forms, scrape content or extract data, beyond what is permitted by our robots directives for search-engine indexing;
- attempting to interfere with the site’s security, forms, rate limits or infrastructure;
- reproducing, republishing or reselling substantial parts of the content, the tools or their logic;
- presenting content from this site as the published position of any UAE authority, or as legal advice;
- removing or obscuring attribution, review dates or source citations when quoting from the site.
We may suspend or block access from any source that breaches these terms.
9. Enquiries and communications
Sending an enquiry is a request for us to contact you. It is not an instruction to prepare, file or submit anything, and we will not do so without a written engagement. We may decline to take on a matter. Communications by email or WhatsApp are not guaranteed to be secure or received; if something is urgent, please telephone during office hours (Monday to Saturday, 9:00–19:00 (GST)).
Personal data you send is handled as described in our privacy policy. Please do not send identity documents or document scans at the enquiry stage.
10. Third-party sites
The site links to official UAE government and authority websites and occasionally to other external sites so that you can verify a rule at its source. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement, and the presence of a link does not imply any relationship with the site linked to.
11. Liability
The site and its tools are provided as they are, for information. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cosmos Immigration excludes liability for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from reliance on the content or tools of the site, from any inaccuracy or omission in them, from any change in law or official practice, or from the unavailability of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These terms do not govern the provision of professional services under a written engagement, which has its own terms. [Legal review: confirm the exclusion and its wording under UAE law.]
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from your use of the site are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and, to the extent applicable, the laws of the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction. [Legal review: confirm the governing law, the competent court and whether a different forum applies to any part of the operator’s activities.]
If you access the site from outside the UAE, you are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply where you are.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the current version is shown at the foot of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
